Skotske BrewDog medbringer bl.a. samarbejdsbryg med Three Floyds, “viagra-øl” samt helt ny Abstrakt til Ølfestival København 2011 – 26. til 28. maj.

Triple Dry Hopped Imperial Black IPA. A monster of a IPA combining dark malts with monumental amounts of our favourite hops.

BrewDog Alice Porter (6,2%):

Few beers are shrouded in secrecy like the porter; a beer whose roots are said to be punctuated by hurried footsteps along cobbled London streets and swirls of mist from atop the River Thames. Decloaked and radically reinvisaged, BrewDog’s Alice Porter is a 6.2% sacred union of one 300-year-old recipe and two cross continental hop varieties.

A delicate mirage of chocolate, red fruit and burnt sugar, let Alice Porter whisk you away to a forgotten time juxtaposed against the backdrop of modernity. And then, before you know it, she’s gone… tumbling down a rabbit hole into the same obscurity that first caught your attention.  Leaving but the question – who or what is Alice Porter?

BrewDog Bitch Please (11,5%): Fadlagret Barley Wine. Samarbejdsbryg med amerikanske Three Floyds der samtidig med ølfestivallen også er i København.

With the wolves of Three Floyds and pirates from BrewDog involved, the writing really was on the wall for me. Right from the start. Nick, Barnaby and Chris from the legenedry Three Floyds visited BrewDog in August 2010 to brew this crazy beer. An inherently Scottish spin on a barley wine brewed with peated malts from Islay, shortbread, toffee and eclectic hops.

After fermentation the beer was aged in old Jura single malt whisky barrels for 8 months.  All because of the Scamp Wolf of Badenoch. Bitch it up baby!

BrewDog Royal Virility Performance (7,5%): Med “naturlægemiddel viagra” – brygget i anledning af Prins William og Kate Middleton’s bryllup.

A limited-edition beer containing herbal viagra to mark the forthcoming royal wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton on April 29th. Brewed using various well known aphrodisiacs, the limited edition artisanal beer will only be available to buy from the BrewDog.com website.

According to the specially commissioned label, the Royal Virility Performance contains herbal viagra, chocolate, Goat Weed and ‘a healthy dose of sarcasm’. The beer is a 7.5% ABV India Pale Ale and has been brewed at BrewDog’s brewery in Fraserburgh.

With this beer we want to take the wheels off the royal wedding bandwagon being jumped on by dozens of breweries; The Royal Virility Performance is the perfect antidote to all the hype. A beer should be brewed with a purpose, not just because some toffs are getting married, so we created something at our brewery that will undermine those special edition beers and other assorted seaside tat, whilst at the same time actually give the happy couple something extra on their big day.
